Midtown Square is a 300-unit apartment community located in Seattle's historic Central District neighborhood. Given the area's rich culture and vibrant past, we immediately felt the brand and marketing strategies for Midtown Square had to be rooted in the legacy of the neighborhood. My responsibilities for the initial and ongoing marketing plan include everything from asset design and copywriting to photography and social media.
A Community First Website
The website for Midtown Square had the challenging task of not only conveying the brand's compelling story but also serving as a practical tool for leasing apartments. Balancing these dual objectives required careful consideration and strategic execution. By seamlessly integrating the brand's story into the website design and functionality, I successfully created a user experience that blends storytelling and practicality. This harmonious union allows the website to serve as a captivating introduction to Midtown Square and a valuable resource for future residents seeking their perfect home.

Putting the "Social" in
Social Media
I managed Midtown Square's social media presence during its pre-leasing phase, utilizing both paid ads and organic posts to engage a broad audience and foster an authentic online community. I oversaw the creation of branded graphics that showcased events and lifestyle imagery, which led to increased brand awareness and engagement. My efforts helped make Midtown Square a recognizable brand with an active and connected online following.


Visuals that Tell the Story
I collaborated with a diverse team of professionals, including photographers, 3D artists, videographers, and virtual tour specialists, to create a comprehensive media portfolio for Midtown Square. Throughout the process, I took on multiple roles, from coordinating the shoots to offering creative direction and providing interior design recommendations.
Ads Curated for You
I oversaw the creation of multiple digital ads during the pre-leasing phase and I also wrote the script for a geofencing video ad that incorporated carefully selected video clips, music, and voice talent.

Utilizing popular listing services like Apartments.com and Zillow, I helped enhance Midtown Square's online visibility to attract diverse individuals actively searching for rentals. I optimized these listings with curated photography, purposeful wording, and regular audits, which resulted in consistent occupancy rates and positioned Midtown Square as a highly sought-after community in the market.
